I started my career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2000 as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at Pfizer, where I gained hands-on experience in clinical research from the very beginning. This role provided me with a fundamental understanding of clinical trial operations, monitoring and regulatory requirements that have been critical throughout my career.
 
I started my career with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and further specialized with a University Certificate in Clinical Trial Practice and Management from the University of Basel. This training has provided me with both clinical and operational skills that enable me to provide effective strategic and operational support to companies.
 
Throughout my career, I have held various leadership positions, from Clinical Operations Manager at NBE-Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Boehringer-Ingelheim, to Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Aridis Pharmaceuticals. I have also managed clinical projects at Mundipharma EDO GmbH and Light Chain Bioscience. In each of these roles, I have experience in managing trials, overseeing clinical sites, external service providers and working with cross-functional international teams.
