Isabelle Petit Topin is a passionate professional for Protein biochemistry and all that has to do with protein in general. Graduated at the University Paris Diderot, Isabelle obtained her PhD in 2009 (CIFRE HRA Pharma - Inserm - Paris) in Protein Biochemistry and Crystallography. After her thesis, she participated in several research programs in collaboration with worldwide leading academic Institutions, CRO and pharmaceutical companies (ex: Pasteur Institute, INRA, INSERM, CNRS, and Population Council of New York, BioXtal, tebu-bio, HRA Pharma...). This diversity of R&D projects has allowed Isabelle to acquire significative experiences in cellular biology, molecular biology, protein production and purification in application areas encompassing endocrinology, oncology, virology and neurosciences. Most recently she joined the Manufacturing Science and Technology team at Novartis Huningue (France) as a team lead for DSP. Over the time, Isabelle has been able to prove her capabilities to develop efficient, unique and innovative recombinant protein / antibody production and purification strategies, with notably the improvement of algorithms to create and optimize such processes.
