Joshi Venugopal is the General Manager and Head of Europe for Novartis Gene Therapies &Rare Diseases. He is also a Board Member of Somagenetix, a Zurich based biotech company developing gene therapies. A seasoned pharmaceutical executive, Joshi brings a unique blend of experience across Research, Development, and the last decade in Commercial leadership. He has managed P&Ls exceeding $1 billion in annual revenue and led teams of up to 400 associates across diverse cultural environments. Early in his career he served as Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Novartis.
