Alnie Demoral is an Energy Analyst for Asia at Ember, a global energy think tank that works to accelerate the clean energy transition through data-driven analysis and policy insights. In her role, Alnie leads research and energy policy modelling across Southeast Asia, promoting the integration of clean power into the region’s power and industrial sectors. She is a key contributor to discussions on advancing renewable energy adoption and grid modernization to reduce fossil fuel dependency and improving power system reliability. She has worked with various national and regional organizations across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, and she is currently pursuing a PhD in Energy Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
