Chris Griffith's career as a computer professional, teacher and journalist spans several decades. He coded at school in the 1960s, completed a computer science degree in the early 1970s, and taught computer awareness at TAFE in Victoria and Queensland. He ran a successful startup in Brisbane in the 1980s which specialised in building network PC solutions for business. He retrained as a journalist and was a researcher, reporter and investigative journalist at The Sunday Mail and The Courier-Mail, ABC Brisbane and for 15 years at The Australian, mostly as Senior Technology Journalist.
